This week, children from across the school have enjoyed a circus workshop.
Hazel and Rowan class learnt a scarf and a gymnastics ribbon routine, walked the balance beam, tried pedal-goes, flower sticks and to balance a peacock feather.
Elm, Beech and Sycamore Class learnt to balance a peacock feather in various positions, spin a plate and do tricks, juggle three balls between two, tried flower sticks and performed a tumbling routine.
Willow, Maple, Ash, Pine, Birch and Oak Class learnt to balance a peacock feather in more advanced positions, did some advanced plate spinning routines, Diablo, Poi, hula hooping, a tumbling routine and juggled scarves and balls.
Children also enjoyed the opportunity to learn more skills and refine those learn in their sessions during this week’s lunchtime provision.
