School News Update – Friday 20th March

Dear parent/carer,

Firstly, thank you for being so cooperative and understanding at this difficult time. We are extremely grateful to the local community for all they are doing. I would also like to take the opportunity to thank the wonderful staff at the school who have done so much to help and support all of the children and will continue to do so.

The school has now closed to the majority of pupils and as such we will be adopting measures to minimise contact and ensure we do our best to comply with the guidelines and the mandate given by the government.

If you have not been contacted this afternoon to confirm your child has been offered a provision on Monday please do not come to the school site.

We will still be communicating on Monday and through the week. We understand that some people may feel that they have pressing queries that need to be addressed. We will be happy to communicate via telephone and e-mail on Monday but we request that you do not come to the school grounds. We will be in contact regularly so please check our school website and parent mail for regular updates.

Free School Meals

We will be providing a meal pack for any pupil eligible for free school meals on Monday. We do not yet know when these will be delivered to the school but we will update any family eligible for these on Monday. We will also let you know how these can be collected.

We are all thinking of the local community and beyond at this difficult time and extend our best wishes to you all. We are very much looking forward to returning to normality and seeing all the children back at the school.

All the best from everyone here at Holsworthy C of E Primary School.
